Next Photo Project

I am working on a new body of work. I am excited for all of the flight hours I will be spending this holiday. I hope to have many more soon!

Philly for an hour

On the drive back to NY, we stopped in Philly so Ani could get the Rocky photo of himself he has always dreamed of. I am in love with his vanity:) I have 50 more variations if anyone would like one.

North Carolina / Thanksgiving

We drove down to North Carolina to visit my grandparents for the Thanksgiving holiday. It had been a year since I had last seen them. I wish we could have stayed longer:)

Red Tailed Hawk

This is super graphic and gross, but amazing at the same time. Ani was walking in Washington Square Park and came across this hawk.

New Mexico - Land of Enchantment

We planned a trip to New Mexico before the storm hit. It was so nice to get out of New York and see our friends in New Mexico. We were only there for an extended weekend. As soon as we got into Albuquerque, we immeadiately got in our rental car and headed up to Santa Fe
You are looking at 60 miles in this photo.
Our favorite thing to do when we arrive in New Mexico is to get out on to the open road and hear the sound of silence. As soon as you get out of the car, you do not hear a single thing.

Givin' the cactus some love.

We didn't have a chance to get up into the mountains this trip, but I wanted to share this old photo. Bliss is standing in that golden aspen forest in the fall.

Santa Fe sunrise the morning we left. I remember speaking to Courtney on the phone the evening before. She asked me how Santa Fe was and I looked up at the sky and told here the sky is literally turquoise, purple and orange-pink all at the same time. Santa Fe is magic.

Hurricane

I have gotten really behind in posting as so much has happened in the last couple of months. Hurricane Sandy was quite an adventure. We some how managed to not lose power during or after the storm, but every other aspect of our life was disrupted. We were fortunate enough to get right back to our normal lives after about seven days. I didn't feel compelled to document much of the damage or destruction. Hurricane Sandy is not something I would like to remember.

I did take these two videos before and after the storm hit at the harbor near our gym. The first video was taken during the morning high tide before the storm hit. The second video was taken the following morning after the storm had passed. The large trees at the end of the first video are no longer standing at the end of the second video.
